Picnic at the winery . . . or two.

Wine Tasting at Testaross and Savannah Chanelle

A few friends and I headed to Testarossa Winery.  This was my first visit to this excellent winery in Los Gatos.  The tasting and service was impeccable and I found a favorite;  The 2009 Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir!  The blend of berry, pepper and clove was an excellent composition of fruit and spice.

After Testarossa, we headed to Savannah Chanelle Winery for another tasting, a picnic lunch and a few games of Bacce Ball!  the weather was perfect for such an outing and definitely one of my favorites.

Family Visit

 

Mary, the kids and I went to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk for the day.

 

 

 

On the first weekend on Mary's visit, we had the whole family come for a good ol' family BBQ.

A visit to Lake Tahoe was in order.  Mary had never been to Dad's house in Tahoe, so it was a must do trip.

 

 There is nothing like a home cooked meal!  On one of the nights, we enjoyed the works with Sangria, fried chicken, chocolate cake and a game of scrabble.  I won!

  

 

We headed to Half Moon Bay for the 4th of July.
